MACHINE SANDING AND DEWAXING
We sand your vehicle, using a dual action machine sander to create a paint surface that our paint will adhere to.
Then, we also sand many areas by hand for optimum paint adhesion. Extra machine and hand sanding is available for particularly rough areas.
To protect your vehicle's glass, chrome and trim, we carefully mask and tape everything that should not be painted. We keep our costs low by masking rather than totally removing chrome, glass, bumpers, etc.
Using a special air hose, we blow the surface of your vehicle to remove dust particles resulting from the sanding process.
To remove residual dust, we wipe down by hand the vehicle's surface with a special tack cloth.
Priming & Sealing
We then apply primer & sealer using Guide Coat, afterwards we water sand the entire vehicle to get the perfect surface
After the vehicle enters the state-of-the-art booth, we tack cloth the entire vehicle to there is no dust in the controlled environment. We then apply 3 OEM base coats, 3 high solid clear coats including UV protection.
After painting, most vehicles are placed in our new Infrared Quartz Finish (IQF) Drying System. Unlike other dryers, ours dries your paint from the inside-out to create a long-lasting finish.
